Making your own scented candels!!!

Hi
Is there anyone out there who knows how to make thier own scented candels? Not from essential oils but from things in the garden??? Like lavender or rose, I just find the essential oil ones you buy a bit strong and weird... any home recepies welcome.

I haven't tried it (yet!), but I have got instructions. You tie up your favourite scented herb in a small piece of muslin to make a little bag with a long piece of string, then dangle the herb bag in the melted candle wax, then carry on and make your candles as usual (if it's something you usually do!). If you give it a go, let us know how it works won't you?
