Well, Jade died in her sleep.
On Mother's Day, how poignant is that?

Whatever you thought of her (and I was no fan), it is a sad day for her family.

I'm so sorry to hear this, she did want to have a last Mother's Day with her boys. While I didn't always agree with Jade's behaviour, in the end she has been an inspiration to many young people especially regarding the importance of having cervical smear tests. If she saved just 1 life by the publicity then I'm behind her 100%
My girls found their way into my heart and now they nest there

Jade did what she thought was best in her situation for her family, and who can blame her. I'm sure we would all do the same in her circumstances, who are we to criticize? RIP.

              That's so sad!
She wasn't a bad person...just maybe a little naive as to how her PR people would put her in positions she'd struggle with, knowing it would be good for their pockets!
              Love to her family!x

She's done more good for health issues in the last few months than most people do in a lifetime. May she be remembered for the good she's done, rather than the somewhat iffy behaviour in the past.

I agree, Srodders - I wasn't a fan of hers when she was healthy, but I feel her reason for allowing publicity during her illness was that she was trying to ensure a good life for her children. Also, she highlighted health issues around cervical smear tests.

It's a sad day for her family, good wishes to them all.

                  Jade herself is at peace.

She made her fortune in the public eye and, unlike the fortunate rest of us, had made her mistakes publicly also. She chose to bow out in, perhaps, the only way she knew how and left behind financial security for her beloved boys in the process.

And when most of us would be happy to retire from public life she also stepped up and made a difference to the lives of many young women in the future and their families who will not have to suffer the torment of this dreadful disease as a result of her bravery. She's been criticised for going public - but each to his own I say - I don't blame her for exploiting the tabloid appetite for such things of celebrity.

I'm sure she's beaming down from heaven now as she sees her boys grow into fine young men. I just hope that now her family are given the time and space to grieve properly for this sad loss.

RIP Jade - a braver woman than I!
