  • I snow, I snow

We've probably all had enough of the stuff by now - but this picture still amazes me:

I think it was taken just before, or around Christmas time last year.

Awesome! Dont think we'll snow like that again for a long time. It was fun for the one day i couldn't get home from work and had to walk for 3 miles to get home after abandoning the car, and fun for the next day when we couldn't get my oh's car off the drive and had to take the day off work, but when it went icy and dangerous...the fun stopped. but while it was soft and fluffy..........amazing fun
Life isnt about surviving the storm.....But learning to dance in the rain.

            great picture !
I too have had enough of the snow, got up this morning to find a few inches of it on the ground and its still snowing heavily. It makes everything so much harder, the horses dont really like it, they will go out and play in the field for about an hour then just stand at the gate and create a fuss til they get in which means they are in their stables most of the day and that makes for more mucking out as I will have to go out later and redo it or they will be disgusting in the morning. Still got to get my daughter to nursery this afternoon and do the shopping, my little fiesta isn't that good in the snow either

Blizzard here today, and I had just cleared 40 metres of driveway right back to the grit ! Judging by the way the birds are fighting over the feeders, they are expecting this to last a while.
Out of firewood, to get my coal burning I need to go fetch kindling from down by the river...I'm going to dress like Scott of the Antarctic, but the dog will love it.
Still at least the temperature has gone up...it has been below -12 the last couple of nights, and -5 during the day.
There's no point reading history if you don't use the lessons it teaches.
