Default I have a kitchen (sort of) - yay

The beautiful quartz arrived yesterday, it has bits of mirror in it and it sparkles!
The oven and hob were then plumbed in.

So no more excuses not to cook, not had any facilities for 7 weeks now (eek) and I think I have rather forgotten what to do! There must be some whopper 'baby' carrots left somewhere in the garden and sweetcorn.

Just need wall units, finish lighting, sink in and doors on cupboards then we are done!

Oh yes and a floor and all the painting, but I am not thinking about that! Juts happy to have the basics!

janeyo - off to admire the sparkles again! OH says he thought it would be a bit footballers wives but he can see now I was RIGHT and it's gorgeous!

Sounds Lovely, how exciting for you! We had our kitchen done earlier this year and I still go in and just stand and admire it!! (I do cook too!)

Having not had a kitchen for 8 weeks this summer, I feel your joy, ha ha! Haven't plumbed the new cooker in, yet, as I want to tile behind it first, but I did a lot of it myself and also stand and admire it, like Lainey Lou! Especially the 'hidden cupboard' thingy. I was very proud of putting that in!

Have fun Janeyo, I know how bad it can be I went for about 3-4 months without anything but an old upright cooker in the middle of a building site - nightmare

Good for you janeyo. I got my cheapy/temporary cooker in March after 6 months of just a camping gaz thing, it will be another year before I have anything even close to a proper kitchen
It's fun to plan though......
