If we had a place to put it I would bully the OH into doing it, but severe shortage of storage space is a bigger problem than the distance (which is moderate by our standards)

Bob...ditto - we're in the middle of having the back wall knocked down and rebuilt, and the back courtyard is a building site. My OH would go loop the loop if i turned up with a shedload [or greenhouse load] of glass and more wood to store. I had to spend the day sawing up wood for our woodburner as we didn't have anywhere for it.

Plus, the builders would probably skip it i left alone for more than 2 minutes...

This time last year - different story.

well if i could i would, but as you know i will have to get help dismantelling my own and moving it carefully lol!!!!

i wish you luck with your quest, i am sure there are some lovely grapes that can help :-)

I can't help, too far away.

Can you ask the seller to 'hold it' for you for a few weeks? Maybe for a few extra quid?

Its tied in to a house move, so I'm guessing not.
