Default Hurry Hurry Hurry I love Wilkinsons

Just been to Wilkinsons - I've got the day off work and have had the best day ever.

Things I bought:

David Austin Rose £5.99
Medium Size Christmas Rose £2.49
2 x Paeony about £1.50 each
Beautiful Dahlia Bulb £1.00

They had the Gradman type screen 6 ft x 10ft in willow, bamboo reed etc for £13.99 normally double that in the garden centre, I'm gonna go back later with OH so he can carry it. Oh and the fruit tress were £5.00

I also popped in to Woolworths and got a thornless blackberry for about £2.00 and a half price mushroom kit. I'm so happy I know very sad but I am very easily pleased.

Please let me know what you have got from Wilkinsons - I like to spread joy

I LOVE Wilko. What have I bought... hmm, greenhouse staging, two cloche tunnels, an obelisk, more seed trays than you can shake a stick at, fruit bushes, seed labels, thermometers, compost, vermiculite, rhubarb, artichokes, strawberries, seed potatoes, patio pots, twine, flower bulbs and of course a huge amount of seeds.

Probably more stuff too, it really is my fave shop

Well someone (although not many!) had to go and live in the countryside, in the middle of one of Englands least inhabited counties, with hardly any main roads or motorways thru it (only one near Swindon).....tough but well we'll make the £land sacrifices!

I love Derbyshire, but its a bit cold oop north thou knows lad.

Hee hee, just what I always wanted on mine for market days in Skipton..
I settled for a 2nd hand Silver Cross big muther-hubbard, soon shifted the Grannies
Unfortunately Skipton is the mecca for charity shops, but not Wilko or £land

Minty, this is all your fault! My Poundland didn't have the cloches but while I was there I accidentally spent £19 on 175 flower bulbs, three bags of Bill Oddie's bird food, a National Trust gardens book, four dibbers (one for each child!), a twine tin, some weed control fabric, a mini marigold starter kit and a hyacinth vase and bulb! Then I felt compelled to go to Wilko, to make sure the Oddie food was a bargain (it was) and some bird feeders and a spade said they wanted to come home with me too
