        All I can do is sigh a big sigh.....
        how long to sort the bowl of iced water, then wash up the bowl etc....
        Just peel to darn thing!!!!! seconds with a good peeler or knife!!

                        How very American....lol

                        When i was a chef we had a potato rumbler. Bit like a tumble dryer. Put spuds in, they "rumbled" around for a bit and it rubbed off the skin. Could do a whole sack of spuds in no time.

                          I have one of those for my Kenwood Chef what a din it makes! I use it when I only have wee spuds left and we want mash
