Default Have you got your kitchen door open?

Just told Mr C I have put a thread on re - The Witchery in Edinburgh. He asked me if I would ask you lovely people on here what you are having for tea before I made it or whether you have the back door open in the kitchen as I have just asked him to do that. Anyone else's OH's have the same opinion? He doesn't understand I value your opinions on here

ps - he was just joking but I told I would put a thread on here asking

LOL, our kitchen door is firmly closed keeping the rubbish winter weather outside! We just had sausages in beer and onion gravy with mashed spuds for dinner.

And my back door is open too.

we had bolognaise, and the back door is shut (cos otherwise the dog takes herself off for a walk) ...... the windows are all open though, but it's going dark now, so i'm going to close them in a minute otherwise we get loads of moths and creepy crawlies, normally the front door is open all day, when it's warm(even if it's raining) cos the front garden has a fence.

the back door is off the utility room though, and not the kitchen .... the actual kitchen door always stays open, especially when i'm cooking ..... the smoke detector is up the stairs, and when that goes off tea is cooked

Home made spaghetti sauce with spaghetti and nice strong cheese grated lovingly over the top. Was fab.

I open the door, the OH closes the door - I open it again esp when cooking as it gets so hot in here.

The door was closed, but had to open the kitchen window half way through cooking as it took so long to make and that made the room hot. We had Borscht for tea with Wild Plum and Cardamom fool for desert. The custard for the fool was home-made as well.

Busghetti bolognese for us with my own onions, garlic, oregano and basil. One kitchen door open (leading to back garden), one kitchen door shut (leading to dining room and rest of house) to avoid lingering smellies.

Our kitchen door is permanently open unless, 1) we are out or, 2) the neighbours are cooking curry, or, 3) the wind is from the North, blowing the rain in. Last night we had liver and bacon casserole containing homegrown onions and herbs, with minted charlotte potatoes, french beans, calabrese and carrots. All the veg was homegrown (except for the carrots which were given to me by the lady on the next plot) I do laugh at the Sainsbury's 'meals-for-a-fiver' ads...... seems jolly expensive to me.
