Happy 2009 everybody. May your gardens and lotties be as productive as you'd like them to be, may the sun shine, may it rain only at night, may all the slugs distinguish between weeds and veg and only eat the weeds, and all other trials and tribulations be easily coped with. May your chickens lay beautiful eggs, and your broodies hatch pretty chicks. Good health and happiness for all of you.

Looks like we're celebrating at home tonight with a few friends. I may have to drink the entire contents of the lovely bottle of Port my Nephew gave us for Crimbo, coz at midnight I'm on the waggon, and I couldn't bear to watch my OH drink it without me.
I'd like to wish everyone on the 'Vine a happy, healthy and prosperous new year, and a bumper harvest.
