I don't think so, but it looks like it could eat you.

I had to check where you lived too! Bit big to get blown off course to Basingstoke...

I was expecting a photo of a fox! DS will love it- I'm going to show him when he gets up (his first words will be "can we move there?").

Well, he said "Cool!", but doesn't want to live in Maryland in case he is lying in the garden and a vulture thinks he's dead and tries to eat him...

He's 8 and doesn't lie down anywhere until he has to go to bed

Do you get many where you live- or is that quite unusual for you to see???

Wow Sesa - what a sight. I was just trying to imagine the reaction if we looked out the window and saw one of those in Devon!!!

:0) Yes, first thing I checked out was where you were! Don't fancy him landing on my birdtable!!
                        Great photos though!

                              Omg!!

                              What an amazing visitor!

I must show pix to my daughter, she's falconer, and will love them.

Do you get any other unusual (well, to us anyway!) wildlife in Maryland? I'd love to see racoons, I know they are nuisances but they have such great faces.
