The writers of Torchwood have surpassed themselves with tonight's episode.

Does anyone know how to telescope time so next Thursday comes sooner?

    Me'n'Al are loving it too.
Only complaint is that you wait all year and only get 10 episodes WHAAAAAAA

I know! AND they stop Dr Who halfway through the series. I mean... who on earth would rather watch Wimbledon, racing, golf...

I'm sorry, what is "Torchwood" ?

I'm serious, I have no telly.
There's no point reading history if you don't use the lessons it teaches.

BBC - BBC One Programmes - Torchwood

          Prepare to be blown away...

BBC iPlayer - Torchwood: Miracle Day: Episode 1

BBC iPlayer - Torchwood: Miracle Day: Episode 2

(It's an offshoot (as well as being an anagram) of Doctor Who.

          I think we're up to season 4.

                and not at all complimentary.

For goodness' sake - someone ought to tell the guy it's escapism, pure and simple.

He makes at least one valid point though - I'd be interested to know what a complete newcomer makes of it.

I must confess, I've only seen part of one episode in the first series and although I'm usually a fan of escapism, I couldn't get into it. Funnily enough, I've never liked Dr Who either. Shame really, because I'm sure he speaks very highly of me.

Watched both eps, enjoying it so far, but I do hate when the BBC feel they have to appeal to the American audience (rather than the UK one) by setting it in the US (DR WHO too) - its OUR show and WE PAY FOR IT!!

On an aside, I am not really enjoying the latest Dr who, I dont really like Matt Smith as the Dr, quite glad he's leaving.
