I make my own mozzarella and ricotta - when I can find milk on offer.

Not done halloumi though. Bearing in mind how much I love halloumi that might be next on the list.

You know what's going to happen next, don't you - people will need destructions.

What a bunch of show offs

I'd be interested in how you make cheese at home.

I really could have done with the halloumi destructions last night. Spent an hour looking forward to my dinner of toasted sour dough with halloumi...went to the fridge and it was mozzarella...still made a lovely dinner, but wasn't halloumi

I've only ever made paneer for a curry....was surprised how easy it was. I'd like to give more a try.

I have a recipe for cottage cheese but I haven't tried it yet. I love cottage cheese but there are good ones and bad ones. I don't like the very low fat ones I like them a bit creamy.

Longley Farm the best when I can get it. Sainsburys second. Morrisons and Aldi not up to scratch.

They can be rescued by adding mayo.

will do when the kiddies are asleep. Used veggie rennet. The hallumi is quick to make and tastes good too.
