  • Favourite Christmas Film??

Here's a nice festive thread (and its not even December yet )

Whats your favourite Christmas film? Doesnt neccessarily have to be Christmas related, just one you watch every year, or reminds you of the big event.
(I am also looking for inspiration too!)

    To start the ball rolling:
Mine is "Its a Wonderful Life" Watch it every year and have done since I was a child.

I also love "The Wizard of Oz"

Santa Claus the Movie (original with Dudley Moore)
            The Santa Clause (Tim Allen)
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (original, not the Johnny Depp version)
            Gladiator (ooohhh Russel Crowe

These are mine, not in any particular order. I realise these are mostly kids films but if you can't watch them at Christmas time when can you?

                        A Christmas Carol - natch!

Not sure which version I like best, but the one with Patrick Stewart in is good...

The Muppets Christmas Carol. That is all...
I defy anyone who has a beating heart not to feel better towards your fellow human after watching that film. The true meaning of christmas, i think.
Watching it, you can see the perpetual glint in Michael Caines eye, as if to say "I am having so much fun here!"

American History X? What sort of christmas are you having???? It's an absolutely fantastic film, much overlooked, but about as christmassy as Schindlers List!

                              My tuppence,
