  • Dont know what to do...

Most of you are aware of the probs that i have been having with the old git on the allotments.....its getting worse......DH took me to lottie today just for some gentle weeding, feeling slightly tender with a temp but it was good to get out. Old git arrives and his wife calls my son a wa***r, we are called thieves in the night and old sl**s because we move OUR stuff off when he is not around. TODAY he arrives with an army and puts up pallets nailed into the new gate that I made for ourselves to make our life easier...

I have reported him to lottie officer but she keeps saying that she cannot get involved! We are being harrassed, intimidated and i really dont know what to do! DH wants to yell back and rip pallet up but what good is that going to do? i dont stoop that low but DH says maybe i SHOULD.....

A nice afternoon turned horrid and i am sat ere with a high temp feeling carppy......any advice?

        And the greenhouse - obviously.

I'd just get the lot off there as soon as you can - I know you aren't well and that isn't helping but your better off getting it off and planted up now [it's not like it is summer anyway].....and risk the fruit not ripening this year than losing the lot to the old fart.

FFS Mo that's awful - if I were nearer I'd pull his bleeping pallets down and wrap 'em round his bleeping ears!

Just take what's yours (including the gate) and leave 'em to it, save yourself the aggro, after all you don't need this really do you? You should be concentrating your energy on getting well hun.

That's a good idea, then they can come and dismantle it....warm them about the crazy guy who thinks it is his plot though....perhaps a Grape might want it????

                  What horrid peeps!
Much as in my mind I'd like to stand up to them,in reality I'd probably opt for the easier option of going up when I was sure they wouldn't be there.

Problem is, every time Mo goes up there - someone on the site calls him and tells him. So he rushes down and starts on her.

Hun, I dunno what the solution is, but, ((((hugs)))), I'm really sorry you're having to go through this extra sh*te

If you have receipts for all the stuff that you want to take off the allotment, mebbe a police presence would help? Have you called the community policing team? They might be able to help if you're getting verbal abuse. I dunno, worth a try mebbe.
