  • Dog Loos

Okay, so we got one of those hole in the ground dog loos. Now, I don't know what kind of dog these loos were made for, but the manufacturers obviously never took into account Springer Spaniels who can, quite frankly, lay them for Britain. Well ours can!

Now, if you follow the instructions - add a capfull every few weeks with 5ml going in weekly, then compared to what's going in there daily (several times daily in fact) then it appears to have no effect what so ever! At least very little. I mean are you supposed to leave it for a week or something? Perhaps have two - so that when one is 'dissolving' you're filling the other!

Has/does anyone else have one of these contraptions and more importantly, have you managed to get it to work effectively? How much of the bio liquid do you REALLY have to use?

I pity those with Great Danes....
Smile! It's the curve that can set a lot of things straight!

We've got one too, and I tend to add the stuff twice a week, and flush it through a bit more often than it says too. We have a German Shepherd, and it doesn't really keep up with her either, I still find myself bagging and binning a fair bit!

No-one I know has managed to get them to work properly!

They've ended up digging them out, full of u-know-what and having to dispose of them

I've got 2 Boxers, and I wouldn't even chance using one! We just bag ours up and it goes in the black bin (for non-recyclable stuff)
