  • Climbing bluebell

Snowdrop did a garden centre trip for me yesterday whilst I was digging - nice lad ...anyway, he tells me there is a plant there that I will love (really! just one!!) called a climbing bluebell.

Now I've never heard of such a thing and on doing a search on webbly nothing shows up - has anyone heard of this? I'm off to GC shortly to check it out..I will report back....

Looks nice. Wonder if it'll colonise our gardens or something... I always feel a bit wary of these imported beauties - people liked Japanese Knotweed/Spanish Bluebells when first introduced, taking over the world now though

Oops - thread Hijack - but Pisk will understand..

saw the Avro Vulcan fly over the Hill late afternoon - WOW WOW WOW!!!

Good job that Richard-two-plots-down was there to identify it as the only one flying (just been restored by a load of volunteers) as I would have thought that it was (a) concorde (except they are no more) or (b) stealth bomber (except it was prop'ly camoflauge (sp??) and had the RAF target thingy on.)

(BTW always thought that having that target thingy on our boys' planes gave the other chaps an unfair advantage, no?)
