Shall be in London myself tomorrow I am acting carer to a friend who has to go to a meeting at the TUC, all I have to do is make sure she gets there & then I have about 5 hours to my self before making sure she gets home.
Good thing is my friend is a close neighbour & my train fare is paid by our trade union.
The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

Rather you than me LOL I couldn't do it. Like Garfield the cat, I'm not a morning person!

            Good luck tho!

I'm a morning person so long as that morning involves
              a) get up when one wakes
              b) making coffee
              c) sitting on patio (not when it is snowing) sipping coffee
              d) getting showered (sometimes dressed)
              e) going into office next to shower-room to work

I guess working from home can make 'you' a little insular

I think I would either not go to bed at all just to make sure I didn't sleep through it all or go to bed now to make sure I had my full quota of sleep!

thankfully dear SD is used to getting up at the first gun shot and he has (very kindly) offered to ensure that I am up - now if I could just (very quickly) train him to do what I do, he can go to meet with client in my place and I can pick up at point c) above

A few years ago I could get up have a cup of coffee & be at work in under 20 minuets, work was only 5 minuets walk.
