Ive got a bees nest in the airbrick on my house its near the back door so we have to walk past it

Depends what sort of bees. Get an expert to look (most of them are enthusiasts) and take advice as given by someone who has seen them. Contact the BBKA and they should be able to put you in touch with a local beekeeper who will probably come and collect the swarm for free if they are honey beesBlessings

Probably Mason Bees. They're harmless to you and your property. They'll just want somewhere dry to make a nest.
