    Gutted.

    I've listened to 6 Music since day 1; and won a Weezer album on the Phil Jupitus breakfast show during the early days.

        only place you would get AC-DC played two songs after Leonard Cohen.

              I mostly listen to CDs but when I fancy a change and a bit of randomness it was always '6'.
              As well as the perfect music choices they seem to be one of the few stations to have got the chat/music ratio right....unlike R1 that seem to think it's all about chat and throw the odd song in so they can catch their breath.

                        Sorry peeps - it's not sounding good. About four songs in, and I'm heading towards looking for a wrist-shaped sharp knife!

                            What did they play G4 - I can't listen today as I'm in floods?

                            Apparently they are axing it because it has a small audience [which isn't a surprise as it is digital only], but if they built it up it would take listeners away from commercial [which is the real reason they have cut it]. Can't have all those middle aged music fans not being subjected to commercial radio with all their adverts, eh? After all, those middle aged listeners have the most disposable income and we must have them spending mustn't we?

                              I definitely wouldn't last that long, and If I did, I'd be wanting to commit murder! LOL
