    Baby potatoes for Xmas table?

    Hi all,
    does anyone know when is the best time to plant few spuds in big old pot to have fresh baby potatoes in time for Xmas??

    The seed company websites show when they send out the seed spuds - I guess it can be assumed that they deliver them around the time they should be planted.

      Grow Your Own magazine is offering some this month: 3 varietes for a tenner, as I recall. Planting in August.

        uhm thank you, i was going to plant spare potatoes from my kitchin drawer as i only want one or two plants max.
        Up to now always planted ordinary shop variety potatoes(but that is for main crop) and every time got tasty / high yield spuds.:-)
