  • Anyone else got a storm raging?

Theres one hell of a storm blowing outside where we are. The gusts sound awful and the rain is really pelting down. My poor mini greenhouses! Anyone else getting this?

Oh yes here in lancashire, blowing a gale, pouring down, had to go up to lottie to peg down fleece, its horrid, here it comes again the snow, rain and sleet, its forecast for -3!
Dont worry about tomorrow, live for today

Very windy here, and the rain is beating against the windows. Not nice at all
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

Not a storm as such - but it was very windy about two hours ago. Had to rescue some seed trays from my mini-greenhouse, which was at a 45-degree angle

It's blowing a gale here too, and raining stair rods. Luckily everything is tuck up (fingers crossed)

Pretty similar the other side of the hills! Glad we checked the lottie on Sunday, there was a loose panel on the greenhouse which could have got messy & expensive

Batten down the hatches folks, winter hasn't shut the door behind it yet

Well picture the scene. I've just been down the garden in my dressing gown and an anorak and my hubbies size 10 shoes!!! Hope nobody was looking. Fleece is just about hanging on but I've got plastic pots and containers everywhere and my metal wheelbarrow has some how ended up 3 metres away in the flower bed. I can see I'm gonna have loads of tidying up to do tomorrow!

Yup - tarpaulin came down this afternoon and it's rubbish here. Blowing a total gale. Not happy.
