    Am i going to be the only person in this country who is stone cold sober at midnight?

    Well, I aint writing it out again........am I?

    First new Years Eve without booze in...........oh I don't know................... since I was about 14 years old!

              No i shall be taxi driving fetching no 2 son back from Meriden and being i am virtually i am the one that is mr taxi driver but if this fog hang's about i shall miss the firework display over the top of Birmingham from the top of our hill drat and double drat.jacob

                    LOL, they will have a mighty long wait, that won't be till about 5am, if most years are anything to go by, not sure they have the stamina, let alone that there wont be any booze left by the time i have finished

                      Hic! I'm reasonably soberish, could all change later mind you....

                      Sorry you can't have a tipple tonight - you'll just have to invite all of us over so we can celebrate together later in the new year...

                              You see..........it's not until you pack the booze in that you realise how many people don't actually partake in a tipple! It's a sobering thought!
