methinks if we get within 15 points it will be a bonus - but we must have faith (it has been severely tested this Autumn)

but as Lawrence Doolaly said in an interview - he captained England to what was then a record defeat at Twickers and 6 years later lifted the World Cup. it will take time to rebuild, but boy it does show how far we have to go.

I left the TV room when Nonu went over. England were basically outplayed in all departments. Its a young team with a lot of rebuilding to do. Discipline was shocking, no pace or invention in the backs, and thinking back to the scrum monsters we used to have, to be outshoved for the first try of the match was poor.
Still, the only way is indeed up. Dont even think we'll win the 6 nations either, disappointingly.
I dont think they will want for motivation under the new management system that Johnson will put in place, I fear for our basic natural talent. Still, to cheer us up though, at least we arent known as a team of bottlers!! (sorry KiwiRach)

Why oh why is paul sakey still playin??? yes he can finish but the rest of his game is shocking...
Our 1st 35 mins was exciting...we stepped up to them!
Haskel, lipman, vickery played well.........but yep i agree we lack so much in the backs...i think i heard flutey and noon's name mentioned once rubbish.
Before stevens came on we were doing well in the scrum. Woodcock is probably the best in the game...

I do hope this is only the start of something new for us....something to build on!

FOUR yellows - oh come oh!!! that Ref was way out of order - I accept that we made some stupid schoolboy errors (again!) but that sodding Ref was not consistent .....a yellow for 'holding on' ....WTF

....

...and no yellow for ABs doing same as we got one for.....

but well played AB's - it was a good match apart from the Ref and I thought we played better than we have in a long time but obviously not better than you ...obviously

....thank gawd you isn't in the 6Ns I say
