So many things have happened since.
5000 Grapevine posts ago
No-one here did I know
All the gear, no idea,
Full of wonder, full of fear
Seeds and seedlings I have sown
and bugger me, some have grown
I’ve laughed, I’ve cried
My bloody pumpkins have all died
Muddy boots, a trowel in my hand
How I love this little plot of land
Courgettes a plenty, carrots are harder
Still I manage to stock my larder
Grapes have helped and supported
You were there when my peas were thwarted
My posts may be seldom helpful
But laughs I have, a whole shelf full
I’ve been a MOM, and I’ll be a Dad
Life really isn’t all that bad
I’ve picked your brains, I’ve picked my seeds
I’ve had my battles against the weeds
I’ve shared some photos, showed my life
I’ve introduced you to my wife
And when the time comes to say hello
You’ll all meet Bean, and watch ‘em grow
Thank you all for helping out
For your knowledge, your guidance and the odd virtual clout
