My husband is interested in keeping bees but has absolutely no experience of beekeeping. I looked on the BBKA website and it looked like they once ran "taster session" days but when I emailed them they only offered three-Saturday courses in Jan/Feb. I'm not sure we are that committed yet to the idea but we'd maybe like to get in touch with any beekeepers in the area who might be able to show us the ropes/ get a free apprentice
