I am allowed to dig up the lawn for a 6x6ft square to create a vegetable patch in the garden (yey told you all Id talk the mother around 
)
So I was just womdering how to go about improving the soil there. Under neath the top layer is clay soil so we were thinking of raising the patch slightly, is this a good idea?
What other steps should I take to make it the best patch possible? I ask now because i got to do my research for later on in the year
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
