  • Toms gettting leggy

All my toms were recently potted on in larger pots but this hot weather has made 5em very tall and leggy. Not got the compost yet to plant them in bigger pots. Is it too late for them or will they be ok when potted on ? Space is a real issue as only room for a few

Three times I took this image but this annoyingly pedantic site failed to upload them all again. So frustrating as the image wasnt too small or large and I had cropped it slightly. Exact same ipad as always so the site is buggy.

When you pot on, pot them deep, if necessary burying the lower leaves.

Try editing your image to make the file size smaller (resize it so that it's smaller) as the site has a file size limit which is under the file size the photos of alot of phones/cameras default photo setting

Or set the resolution on the camera to a smaller size.

this is a good one, set to 75% when resizing.

Thanks jack. I'm going to have a look at that. I hate the resizing app I'm using. All my images come out a bit blurry. Which bugs the he11 out of me because the originals are really sharp.

Every year I grow a variety of mini plums from seeds harvested the year before.
I start these in the house, and in my haste to get things moving, I usually start them too early.
              Subsequently, they go leggy.

              I've never had an issue.
For these, I just let them go wild in the greenhouse anyway.
Just make sure they are supported, I find velco cableties are tailor made for the job.
