Wasn't too sure whether I shouldve put this in feeling fruity but I think my tomato plant was slighty underwatered or maybe it's because I hadnt supported it but my ailsa craig tomato plant snapped last night there is one sIde shoot left on the stump, do you think it will come back from that side shoot?

    Thanks in advance

Yep, it will romp away. If you've got the bit that snapped off, you can pop that up (or cuttings from it) and it will root and grow a backup plant too.

I would pop a stake it and tie it up as it grows - it will probably start off going a bit sideways so you'll need to tie it in if you want it to grow upright.

Yes, stick it in and watch it grow!

It snapped at the bottom and only 1 side shoot is left, in case I described it badly

Yep, just tie that sideshoot up a cane as it grows. The bit that broke off can be potted up and it will root and grow a new plant.
