  • Think My Raddishes are Poorly

    Hi Ya

    We planted some raddishes from seeds in a big tub as I not got a patch yet, but they looking as healthy as they did last year. Can you tell me what is wrong with them and can they be helped?

    could be a few things,i noticed from the pictures they seem to be a bit shady and the leaves a bit pale,are they getting enough light or nutrients if using used compost,and have you watered them when the sun was shining on the leaves,hence the papery look on odd ones,but they are still young plants,i would just see how things go,give them a little feed and more light,then,sew some more in another pot to follow on.

      We normally water our plants in the evening and the sun was very shiny when I took the pics.

      The in a south facing garden and get alot of light and it is compost they in.

          Looks like a few have been munched!
          But they don't look like they're about to keel over and die, personally I'd be making sure they get plenty of light, air and nutrients, checking for slugs, aphids, caterpillars etc and otherwise leaving them to it.
          Warning: I have a dangerous tendency to act like I know what I'm talking about.
