  • Sweetcorn Flowering too early? :o

hi there, i dont have alot of space for sweetcorn but i thought i'd throw a few plants in anyway, however one of the 6 has flowered allready (and also has 3 little cobs on it)
but its only maybe little over knee high, the rest of them seem completely normal and are showing no signs of flowering...

did i do something wrong? :s

Is it possible that its a mistake and the wrong seed got in the packet with the others?

      or it's stressed?

Once the pollen matures tap it to release it onto the silks so the birds+bees magic can happen = earlier sweetcorn for you.

The only thing i can think of is that it possibly got a little dry, but the others seem fine, and its definately the same seed, i guess its just one of those freak things, strange

Don't worry about it George, just enjoy when ready.
