  • raddishes in hanging basket?

    hi all, do u think raddishes would grow in a hanging basket? its about 3 inches deep...... don't want an awful lot of raddishes as only 2 people in the house eat them.....

    Yes they will sweetie. I'm growing some in mine too. just make sure you pull them up when they're nice and small and replant some more for the next crop!

      raddishes now in basket!! lol its 3 tiered so gonna grow rocket and tumbling toms too.....
      hanging salad bowl as its now been re named.

        Great idea, this is my first year growing Toms in a basket too, so why not radishes.
        I am even going to try some beans too.

          I use a mix of six scoops of compost three scoops of sand/grit and two scoops of perlite,the quantity is unimportant as long as the ratio is the same, if for seeds I use this mix, if I am potting on I add some blood, fish and bone, along with a small quantity of chicken manure pellets
