    Nutrients for hydroponics

    Hi

    Looking around for a nutrient list to make my own rather than order. Came across this

    255g potassium nitrate
    198g calcium sulphate
    170g magnesium sulphate
    43g ammonium sulphate
    113g monocalcium sulphate
    A pinch of iron sulphate

    10 grams for every gallon of water

    now, that is missing phosphorus which i thought was important. from what ive read, at grow stage plants need as much phosphorus as pot nitrate with an increased dose of phosphorus when flowering.

    open to any comments or suggestions please, mainly for chili plants.

    how much does all that cost to buy ? their is alot of dif companys selling nutrients so they are not that expensive to get already mix for veg and flowering stages ,i tried to grow chillis this year in hydro and i still have enough left over that i can use all next year without having to get any more

      From eBay and amazon for the bits it's around £20

            interesting ,i think i paid about £10-£15 per liter for mine so you should save yourself a few bob not sure id have the knowledge or confidence when it comes to mixing up chemicals by myself ,it all sounds abit to much like breaking bad for me lol ,good luck with it ,cheers

              On a side note, what size net tubs did you use for chillies?!

                i use the just the standard 5-6 inch netpots in a dwc oxypot set up above a 50-60 liter resevour
