    How many courgettes, squashes and pumpkins are we growing this year?

    Along the lines of http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...ear_80001.html let's have a tally of how many courgettes, squashes and pumpkins we are growing on the Vine this year.

    To start you off, I have 20 courgettes and 29 various squashes = 49

            How very sensible, Martin.

            Given that I had 132 courgettes from 2 plants last year, I'm thinking that VC must have a contract with a supermarket to supply their stores!

              I've got three courgetts. Far too many!!!!

                    This year I have cut back substantially on what we usually grow and now I wonder if I have gone too far. Some days we have NO courgettes at all, and the plants that I have are not particularly vigorous. We have three butternut squash plants growing well, but apart from that, just a sweet dumpling type. I am usually picking dozens of tiny Patty Pan green types, but this year germination failed completely.
                    You only miss these things when they aren't there!
