At what size do you harvest Crystal Lemon cucumber please? I took one off last week that was a bit bigger than a snooker ball and it was tasty, but more seeds than flesh. It's the first time I've grown them.

I too have the Crystals & have found that when they appear round - if that makes sense - is the time to pick them. Also, I've picked early & late & they all taste delicious. It seems a matter of preference to size!

According to the info I found, you harvest them at just bigger than golf ball. I then had to find out what size a golf ball was! I think I've harvested mine at slightly bigger than that TBH. They do have a lot of seeds but I think they are just a nice bit of the texture."A life lived in fear is a life half lived."

I have Crystal Apple and have been harvesting them at slightly over golf ball size (think small apple)..
My 4 year old walks around the garden eating them as if they were apples actually!!
Very prolific cropper too...I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....
