Cabbage white butterflies are still laying eggs on my p/s broccoli. Is it too late for them to hatch now, or should I still keep rubbing them off?

Personaly I am still rubbing them off. A couple of warm days would see them hatch.

I tend to assume while the cabbage whites are still trying to get in I need to keep an eye out to keep 'em out!

I netted but a persistent butterfly got in and I didn't notice until I saw one sprout plant that was just stalk. By keeping them netted when they were covered in caterpillars I was creating a lovely environment for them, where the predators could get them.
