    Broad Beans

    I am using my spare room as an indoor greenhouse to start off my veggies. I planted on the 18/2 some suttons masterpiece green longpod broad beans. They have germinated and seem to be getting very tall very quickly - is this normal or is the room too warm too light?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated not planted this particular variety before have done sutton dwarf and they of course stay quite small for a long time

    I think kimbo, that the room may be too warm or it may be a result of too much watering. Especially with beans and peas if u dont keep an eye on them they can just shoot straight up and become a bit leggy, but as long as u take care of them and keep them watered every so often then they should sort themselves.

      Thanks for that will turn down the heating in there and cut down on the watering. Fortunately I have only planted 12 seeds so far will know better with the next lot
