    A busy day

Well the sun was shining so I got quite a bit done. Put the butternut squash out to start hardening off.

Potted up my tomatoes into 3" pots, planted out the lettuce and cabbage. Also planted out the dwarf kale and broccolli.

Started off some courgette (free with GYO), basil, corriander and red brussel sprouts. All on the windowsill.

Soaking more parsnip seeds and sowed more carrots.

In the front garden I managed to plant 66 bedding plants. Wish I could remember what ones they were though

Prepared the container for brussels. Oh and I found 8 potatoes lurking in the basket that I had forgotten to eat so I shoved them into a compost bag just to see what will happen. They had chitted nicely

Had a go at planting some leeks as well. They are on the windowsill with all the other stuff

Yum. A lot of the things you grow, we can only grow in the winter, here in Texas!
Butternut squash is one of my top five favorite veggies. I will give it a go this coming winter.
