I have just pulled a couple of parsnips and there are some small brown trails/furrows about 1/8inch deep on a few places around some of the roots. I can not see what has caused this. Earlier in the year I treated the bed with slug nemetodes as a general slug deterant is there any thing else that might have caused this?

Been hoping for free p&p, missed out a few weeks ago - we were in Cyprus, where we saw some 'Fernleaf' lavender. Looks really nice. So I thought I'd look for some plugs/plants when we got back.
