A wee bit wet.........

And they're forecasting snow (quite a lot of it) tomorrow, so decided I'd start to take up the slack in my polytunnel cover which has been a bit flappy at one end since April
Note to self - do this on a dry still day, do not wait til it is lashing down and wind is from the North . Anyway, got the guilty end tightened, got very wet and very muddy and p*ssed off so came home early. Ordered jars and cartons for chutnies, pickles and soups on the interweb, got renewal form for Firearms Licence, looked at new rifles in local hardware / shooting / fishing store (need to save a few pennies first) came home, made Banana Bread with Iona, etc etc and here we are. Still pissing it down outside - might go back to the field soon as it is just possible that I'll need to change over my IBC thanks that are collecting my rainwater
