A wee bit wetter !

Reading the titles to my blog entries, you maight think I'm obsessed with the weather. I always said I wouldn't turn into a farmer but it's slowly creeping up on me. Had a good belt of wet stuff last night and it rained a bit too - put 400 litres into my IBC tank.
Anyway, woke up this morning with the hangover from hell - serious lock in at the club last night / this morning and Maggie let me have a long lie - she woke me at 9 a.m. I wasn't too happy as it was only 8 am and she had forgotten about the clocks going back.
Iona came to work with me today, so was slightly restricted in what I could do, but we gathered up twelve barrows of stones, watered the tunnel crops and cleared up the shed.
Barry the stonemason who had a stroke came down to visit us with his daughter Sam. He still has to have more tests following his stroke and has had to change his diet and stop smoking so he's a bit grumpy but given the alternative..............
It was really good to see him looking and acting his usual self.
