Blighted.

I have blight.

Investigated my potato tubs yesterday and found the obvious brown blotches and stem stains on the potato plants, thought It would be too bad as most of my tubs are gone over now and ready, however ..... today i had time to remove all remaining foliage for the plants and binned it. Then went on to water my greenhouse tomato plants and was shocked to find the same brown blotches in those plants.

This is the earliest i have ever been struck, and its now the 3rd year running. A few outdoor tomato so far look ok, but it will be only a matter of time before they become infected.

I doubt i will get my indoor toms to ripen, so far I've not got one fruit looking even slightly off green, so now I am trying to hurry them up by keeping the door shut thus keeping the Temp up. We shall have to see what happens.

Managed to catch up with outdoor jobs today as well, hedge cut, lawn mown, strawbs trimmed down and fed, baskets watered. Now back ache and stung but very happy.
