  • What did you eat today?

As I munch into my mostly home-produced scotch broth, I wonder what all the other grapes are tucking into. Scrummy home made biscuts? Fantastic fizz? Piping hot pigeon? Share the wealth and wax lyrical about your home produce and what you've done with it!

I have a huge pot of tomato soup on the stove. Toms were on offer in Co op. Just waiting for my son and his mates to roll in freezing and covered in snow

I made some pork wraps last night that were so uber-yummy I had to make a second batch and pig-out.
I packed two of them for my lunch today.
      They were:
Pork Chops marinated in garlic, lemon juice, vinegar, chilli powder, oregano, smoked paprika, cumin and pepper. Grilled and cut into strips.
Tortillas filled with the pork, mayonaise, lettuce, grilled peppers and a spoonful of green tomato and red pepper relish (This stuff makes wraps taste incredible!)

My daily bowl of fruit first thing - along with a few slices of home made bread toasted and covered in buttery spread and Gentlemans' Relish.

Just had my second cup of 3 ginger tea (from my favourite tea people), and now eating some "ginger style" cake made in our bread maker.

I say ginger style as we had no ginger, so LadyWayne decided to use granulated coffee instead.

        It's interesting.

Hmmm...not a great morning food wise, so far lots of Clipper Earl Grey tea, no milk. Few spoonfuls of little girly's porridge, Handful of bite-sized shredded wheat. Erm... that's it. Still, might help me get into my Christmas frock!

Toast (home made bread) and home made marmalade so far. Dunno what for lunch as Himself is off out for a Christmas Dinner with his ex-colleagues. I'm making Damson Jam & Biscuits for presents this aft and sausage rolls to put in the freezer. What do you bet I have sausage rolls and baked potatoes later?

Just trying to decide what to bake this afternoon to take to DD tomorrow.
Pleased with something I made last night for dinner - puff pastry patties filled with onion, mushroom, spinach, cranberry sauce and pine nuts. We had them somewhere for lunch and really loved them, couldn't find a recipe but they turned out very yummy.

A big bowl of porridge for my breakfast at 6. Gammon steak, new potatoes, home grown peas and some home made mayo, and for pud I've made spotted dick & creamy custard, I'm gong out for 5 with friends into town, so the spotted dick will help soak the alcofrol up

Had some belated toast with cloudberry jam on (yummy) for brekkie, as I nipped to the greengrocer early and a panini with some toms, cheese and mustard for lunch. Non of this is homemade. Tomorrow is our big making day - Mince pies, sausage rolls, gingerbread house, etc etc.
Making a throw everything in from the fridge, likely to go off soon omelette for dinner tonight.
