Sorry, someone asked me for a marmalade recipe but i never saw the post! Hope it's not too late! This was a recipe from this forum and, although i've searched I can't find out who it was. Maybe you can recognise yourself 'cos it's a fab recipe.

This makes roughly 10 jars 1.5kg oranges, 2.5kg sugar, juice of 2 lemons, 3 litres water.

Boil whole oranges and lemons until peel soft (takes ages)
Cut in half and scoop out all contents with spoon (very hot),including the pith.
Put all this back in the hot water to boil some more to get pectin from pips.
While they boil, cut cooling skins into slices
Pour boiled pulp/pips/pith through a coarse sieve
Reunite peel with juice and pulp and sugar and boil until setting point is reached (105c or 220f )
    Pour into sterilized jars.

This has worked really well for me so whoever posted it - you're a genius!

Thanks raine, t'was myself who was asking which recipe you used, you'd said it was really easy to follow, but there were so many hits when I searched marmalade on the forum, I figured it would be easiest asking direct!

I've never made jam or marmalade before, but I think I've been bitten by a bug and am keen to give it a try!! I'll let you know how I get on.........
