    Beer Bread

    Good Afternoon

    Has anyone tried this recipe Beer bread: Recipes: Good Food Channel. We did at the weekend and it came out brilliantly and it was so quick. So if you want a quick bread this is the one. Great for soups and ploughmans lunches/snacks. Makes me want to experiment with different beers.

      I've made beer bread many times, and it's fabulous. Just a quick word of warning, from experience: Don't skip sifting the flour. If you do, you may end up with a heavy, dense, not very nice loaf of bread that's difficult to swallow. But if you sift the flour, it will be one of the nicest breads you've had!
