Do chooks like the rain, mine seem to be out in it all day, they have got a place to shelter,but just seem to be out in it all day soaked ??

Some do some don't! Some of mine disappear into the hut (or have a long lie-in) on rainy days, others just stand around scrattin in the mud!

I often think mine need Wellies, as they spend so long outside in the bad weather. It's their choice, though. They go out and play in the snow too, silly things.

Some of mine stay in the shelter and some out in the rain. Theres nothing as sorry as a wet hen is there? They do have the choice though and prefer to get wet.
Slightly aside - the rain was so bad today the hen house was leaking! Cue - me out there in a torrential downpour cutting up layers pellet bags to cover the house.
