  • Plan For Converting A Shed?

    Morning Folks,

As per the title, does anyone have a plan for converting a garden shed?
    Cheers

We've semi-converted ours to house chickens and ducks on 2 levels...
    Pictures Link

On the link above are several pics of what we've done... I can get some more detailed ones tonight if you like?

      Thanks OWG,

These are fine for now, currently looking at a 2nd hand shed on Ebay so no hurry for now although expect me to come back too you! Out of interest what are the dimensions of your shed?
      Cheers

        It's a cheap B&Q 6x4 one - was about £99 I think, as a flatpack

The perches (when absolutely full) will sleep between 10 and 12 large fowl, we've currently got 7 in there at the moment...
There are 3 large nestboxes under the perches as well

When the ducks do go in the shed (not at this time of year) we have 7 in there (Khaki Campbells and Indian Runners). We'll be adding another 3 this year.

The ducks just have straw on the floor, so theoretically, you can fit more in, than if you are relying on perches for hens.
