And still more brambles

Hallelujah for the good weather yet again i've been tackling those brambles and i'm glad to say i can finally walk from one end of the garden to the other without a machete . The added bonus being that i now have 2kg of blackberries in the deep freeze, 3kg of rosehips and my lovely neighbour gave me 1kg of windfall apples so yum yum hedgerow chutney & jam on it's way.

Now that i can actually see the garden i've realised how big it really is & i am a liittle overwhelmed right now. Writing myself a jobs list & trying to prioritise. I know i have to get my raised beds in asap, & the greenhouse will need a good clean, minor repiars, door replacing before the winter kicks in if i'm to start the veg growing in the new year.

Even with all the hard work i know it's going to be worth it. I'm going to start taking some photos to keep a log of the changes, & will keep everyone updated. I really can't wait til this time next year when i will have had my first harvest, functioning compost heap & who knows what else. Until later happy gardening....
