  • Used growbags.

What should you do with last years' spent growbag? My OH had a go at Toms in one last year. Its' been sitting by the fence ever since & I was wondering if it can be re-used. If not, can I dig the contents into the veg patch or put it on the compost heap or is it 'contaminated' in any way?

If you don't want to reuse it in the garden top dress your lawn with it. My allotment is 90% clay so I add it as a soil improver.

Top dress the borders with it or add it to the compost heap.

Thanks to everybody for your help. I think I'll sprinkle it on my patchy lawn. Because of the wonderful people on this site, at least my knowledge is growing
