  • Chilli leaves problem

    Hi,

Im fairly new to growing chillies and have encountered a problem on a couple of my plants.
The variety is coffee bean and 2 plants are showing the same symptoms.
A few of the leaves have distorted.
Please see the picture I can't explain it very well.

Is this a disease or nutrient problem, I can't see any bugs on the leaves at all.

    Cheers for any help
    Nick

I'm on my phone so may not be seeing everything clearly! Are there two plants in one pot. Separate out and plant up each individually. They look really healthy to me to be honest, good colour. Is it the leaf that looks a little puckered that's your concern? I think possibly it's had a bumb?
You can check under the leaves for any bugs just in case...

Ay the leaf that's puckered is the concern.
It kinda looks like a bruise to the leaf which has then shrivelled up.

I wouldn't worry but the exact same thing has happened to a neighbouring plant in a separate pot.
Was wondering if I needed to do an emergency quarantine! haha

Someone being heavy handed near your plants? Blame the kids or the OH!

It looks like aphids to me, a couple of mine did the same, a quick dusting of diatomaceous earth sorted the fellows out.
