Just joined and can say my knowledge is very little. I am retired and want to do some home grown salad etc. Got tomatoes growing Beetroot Carrots Cucumber Mange Tout and Strawberries. They are coming along well.
I am a little confused however that the cucumber plants LaDiva, all female it says, yet there a lots and lots of male flowers on it. I planted them from seed. So not quite sure what’s going on. I do remove them.

Welcome to the Vine. Yes, take off all the male flowers.

        Hi Margaret and welcome.
I've found some information about La Diva https://www.victoriananursery.co.uk/..._Seed_La_Diva/

        which says:-
Being an all female variety, it is best to remove the male flowers (identified by not having a tiny fruit behind the flower). If male flowers are left on these may pollinate the flowers causing the fruits to become bitter to taste.

        Hope this helps.

Hi Margaret welcome to the forum I grow diva cucumbers they do well outside. If the plants a bit stressed it can produce lots of males (too small pot? What size pots it in? Or lack of water but be careful not to get the stem wet because it can rot) or it could be producing males because it’s young, mine do sometimes before I pot them on into their final pots, final pot size at least 12 inches.
